Vintage 70’s Deep Orchid & Sequin Appliqué Evening Dress w/ no labels

This lovely long evening dress has no maker’s, size, or materials label. It was worn for a wedding in the early 1970’s. The deep orchid long sleeve dress has a straight flowing shape with a slight gathering to one side of the neck. The neckline in the front and back has scooped v-neck to one side. The material has a slight sheen and may be polyester. There is a pearl iridescent sequined leaf pattern outlined in dark gray seed bead appliqué design at the neck, near the right shoulder. There is also a 15” zipper down the side back of the dress. From the top of the zipper is an open flowy draping. The dress seems to be between a size 8-10.

Across back under arm - 19”
Across back hip - 22”
From top back neck seam to hem- 46”
Sleeve opening from top shoulder seam to bottom arm pit seam- 7”
(The material is a bit stretchy so there is some give.)
